Danielle Bass is Catalyst Volleyball’s Master Coach and the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Faith West Academy. Most recently receiving the honor to be named TAPPS 2A District 7, 2024–2025 Volleyball Coach of the Year for her outstanding leadership and impact at Faith West. In addition to her coaching leadership, she teaches 6th grade Math and Science at Faith West, where she invests in her students both in the classroom and on the court.
A versatile player herself, Danielle specialized as both a setter and outside hitter during high school before being recruited as a collegiate setter at the University of Dallas. Once at Dallas, she transitioned to middle blocker — giving her a unique perspective on multiple positions and the ability to coach athletes with a well-rounded understanding of the game.
Danielle’s coaching style is energetic and detail-oriented, blending strong fundamentals with advanced strategies that prepare players to succeed at the highest levels. Her ability to inspire athletes while holding them accountable makes her an invaluable leader in the Catalyst community.
Above all, Danielle is passionate about using volleyball as a platform to teach life lessons, instill confidence, and build character that lasts far beyond the court.
